No. Our services are not covered by public health insurance. Please check with your private health insurance provider to see if any costs can be reimbursed.

How often does the catheter need to be changed?

A urinary catheter should be replaced every six weeks.

Who carries out the treatment?

An experienced nursing professional will take care of you on-site.

Is catheter changing painful?

In most cases, no. Men may feel a slight tugging sensation, while for women, the shorter urethra makes the procedure virtually painless.

What do I need to prepare?

No preparation is required. We arrive fully equipped for the catheter procedure.

When is a residual urine measurement recommended?

Residual urine measurement is done after a toilet visit to check how much urine remains in the bladder. Small amounts, up to 100 ml, are usually acceptable. Higher volumes may require an intermittent catheter, or in some cases, a long-term catheter.

Who is the six-week subscription for, and what are its benefits?

The six-week subscription is designed for patients who require regular catheter changes and bladder care. It ensures timely, hassle-free appointments every six weeks, with all necessary materials provided, reducing travel, waiting times, and stress for both patients and their families.
